Carpenter

Carpenters work under the direction of the Lead Carpenter and Project Management to complete their work with safety, efficiency and craftsmanship in mind. They must be able to complete their tasks independently from start to completion with an eye on the project as a whole. Carpenters will have the opportunity to learn more about historic restoration and high performance building on the job.

Carpenters should:

• Have 2 or more years of experience

• Be reliable (show up on time) and communicate effectively and positively with all team members and others trades on site

• Layout, frame and sheath floors, walls, roofs and decks from plans

• Layout and install exterior trim and siding

• Layout and install interior trim

• Install interior cabinetry including kitchens, vanities and built-in mill work

• Provide own personal hand and basic power tools
