Lead carpenter
The Lead Carpenter is the Captain of the ship at their project. They supervise company carpenters and laborers, subcontractors, and communicate with their Project Manager, the Client and suppliers. They must be fully skilled in all aspects of carpentry, knowledgeable about building trades, and able to think steps ahead to keep the project moving. We are hiring for the lead carpenter role in two different regions respectively:
the Central NJ area of Mercer + Hunterdon Counties
Sullivan County and Western Ulster County
CARPENTER
Carpenters work under the direction of the Lead Carpenter and Project Management to complete their work with safety, efficiency and craftsmanship in mind. They must be able to complete their tasks independently from start to completion with an eye on the project as a whole. Carpenters will have the opportunity to learn more about historic restoration and high performance building on the job.
